I have both, there is no comparison....AC86U blows it away!That's actually my next buy ... or I was also looking at the 88, what do you think about the 88u in comparison to the 86u?

Make an entry in the hosts file on the clientWhenever I use the dhcp-option, I can't use router.asus.com. I can only use 192.168.x.x to log in. Is there a work around for this?

That's good! Too funny. I have the same issue at a site I support. I did not think much about it until you just posted. I would blow it off and would enter the IP address of the router as a work around. I'll have to try the fix too if I still have issues.You know, that worked!
