You are trying to load an ovpn file for a windows client. Search your providers site for a linux file or one targeted towards routers.

Hi John,
ZorroVPN has only one set of files for everything and routers are supported.

Router WAN 192.168.1.5
Default gateway 192.168.1.1 ( The number you enter to access the Dlink.)
Subnet 255.255.255.0 (same as what the Dlink Ethernet is.)
DNS Servers will be what you have on the Dlink

That should work
Thanks Mike,
That solved the issue of getting the router to operate in the DLINK DMZ. Internet now connects with all those settings, however I still have issues with the Router giving me "Error - check configuration!" Messages when I upload the ovpn file to the router :(

now that everything is working, reboot everything and then try to set it up. If that doesn't work i would try there support. maybe they can walk you though it.

Waiting on there support at the moment. Tried repowering it all and restarting everything but all to no avail. :(
Thanks for all your help and suggestions though.

Did you try setting the VPN Client up using the Tomato router setup?

Try going to the WAN tab and then the NAT Passthrough tab and enable all of them and Enable + helper on the ones that have it.

Then try it again.

Also on the VPN Client page change the Protocol to TCP when you try to set it up. let me know how you make out.

Thanks Martineau. ZorroVPN got back to me and identified that IPv6 was turned off. Turned it on and bingo, VPN connects and works on the router. Now Outlook is bugging me about passwords for gmail, so looks like it is working!

Yes that would work too! :D ... but my ISP does not (yet) support IPv6.
