I live in a house that has paired coax cables per outlet (necessary when cable tv had A&B switch). I plan to setup a HPNA3.1 network using the redundant secondary coax cable. Since I will not be receiving any type of service through this configuration, is it possible to connect one of the outlets to the "input" connector of the splitter? To be more specific, if I have 7 outlets that need to be preconfigured, (I will only anticipate needing 3-4 active outlets at any given time) can they all be connected with the following 6-way splitter?
