Hey TeHashX - do you think you could help me get to the bottom of why rtorrent / rutorrent via Entware NG (MIPS/AC-66U) which I installed using your install easy script is incorrectly identifying itself to several fairly popular private trackers?

Client is calling in as (-DE / libtorrent/1.0.6.0). This is either unrecognized or simply not on the client/approved white list for several private trackers.

So I either get an error from the tracker in rutorrent on some trackers or torrents simply don't seed. I'm guessing this is also because of how the client is reporting itself to other peers (with an unknown or not mainstream user peer ID/string).

Admin support on one of my trackers suggests recompiling rtorrent/rutorrent but since it was done via your easy install script, which is tailored and modified specifically for MIPSEL Entware NG (lighttpd, etc) - and I'm incredibly inexperienced with Entware on the whole as well - that just trying to opkg re-install libtorrent/rtorrent/rutorrent myself manually is going to end up as a giant fail.

Again, I've got to think the issue lies somewhere with the initial libtorrent and rtorrent configs when compiling and configuring via your script.

Can you help me get rutorrent / rtorrent compiled and running correctly on my AC66U please so that it's calling in correctly to the private trackers?

For whatever it's worth, it does seem to communicate fine with what.cd - but other big trackers are having issues.

I'm currently running transmission oj Entware NG and it calls in correctly to all of the trackers but it is severely lacking in add ons, tweakability, etc as compared to rtorrent and just like my experience with OS X GUI clients - the amount of peers I can grab, hold on to for more than a few seconds, and upload reasonably well to is not nearly as good with Transmission as it has been with Deluge and other libtorrent / rtorrent type clients. (My understanding is Deluge doesn't work on Entware NG for MIPSEL).

I'm using Safari (v9.1) unter OSX Mavericks (10.9.5) and it was working some weeks ago (when I needed a how do). Now it's not even with cache cleared. It's not working.
By the way I'm from Austria.
On another PC with Firefox your web side is working.
When I try to open hqt.ro Safari says that it can't open the side. Safari can't open the web side "https://hqt.ro" because Safari can't set up a secure connection to the server "hqt.ro"

It's strange because now I realize that Safari even can't connect to my home router via https and also to the other links I use with https. So I guess there must be a problem with https on my PC.

Ok, did it and the same result. No access to hqt.ro but https to my home router is working again. Really frustrating...
In the next days I will upgrade my Mac to El Capitan and hopefully everything is fixed with it..

You really should look for a more established hoster than chasing down cheaper ones. This isn't the first time you are disappointed by the provider you picked

I still strongly recommend Linode as a VPS provider. Digital Ocean might be a close second, tho I have no first-hand experience with that one.
