Hello Forum,
there's a feature in the current Merlin Firmware 378.56_2 for the Asus RT-N66U, that allows to assign a common name for devices identified by their MAC-Adress in the Device List section:
Main "Overview" -> "Device List" -> Click on the Mac Adress in the "Client Name" Column to change the Mac-Adress to a more recognizable name and click outside of the field to save that name.
Just recently I noticed, that I can't use that feature anymore, because as soon as I try to alter and save the another string in the text field, the httpd process dies immediately and the watchdog respawns the httpd (with a new pid). As a result the web interface user is put on the login screen of the routers web interface.
Tried with several browsers, operating systems and devices.
Can anyone confirm that behavior or provide a remedy for this problem ?
Thanks for info
