I keep losing connection AX88U

Hi, I'm new to ASUS routers and its been rather a unpleasant experience for me so far, maybe because I have no idea how to use these routers to its potential but anyways. I bought a RT- AX88U router in the beginning of the year and I don't know when it started but i started to get these logs and I've been losing connection on all devices for about 1-3min a couple times of the day. this is what shows up every time i lose connection from my modem, I've restarted the modem and router, contacted my provider and they couldn't figure it out. if someone can help me with this problem and give me some tips on what I might need. thank you

A couple of thoughts....

Which version of firmware are you running?

Are you using a dynamic IP connection to your modem and Adaptive QoS as there was a bug in some firmware version(s) where DHCP renewals with the modem which could cause this?

There have also been other bugs which have been resolved in recently issued firmware.

we updated it to 3.0.0.4.386_41249 and yeah i believe that the modem that spectrum gave me comes with a dynamic IP unless I'm mistaken. Also my router tells me that Adaptive QoS is running

OK I thought the bug I mentioned was fixed before that version, but you could always try to turn off QoS for a while to see if the problem if related.

Also if you can note the time of the disconnects and look in the System Log -> General Log for any messages listed when it happens we may be able to offer some more advice.

okay so i turned it off, so i will let you know if any changes happen and also I did call ASUS and they had me turn on Dual band smart connect and set my 2.5 and 5ghz to 40MHz and change my channels it did help a little on how long I'm disconnected but I still disconnect regardless just for a couple of seconds. Their last option is to send it in for repair.
This is when i got disconnected today, it happens randomly even if its only my pc on but i do know that their at least 10 devices that say are on

pppoe does that as well on fiber

Ok so an update, after turning off QoS it still happens a couple of times with the same logs showing up. Is restoring it to default a good idea?

the logs show those messages a lot of times but it hasn’t disconnected that many times since turning off QoS actually yesterday it did it once and today 1-5-21 twice during a zoom meeting

I have a AX86U and I am experiencing the same with some of my clients. Did you ever resolve this?

I have the same problem and it is absolutely creating havoc in our household. Devices are all falling off the internet.
