Im pulling my hair out... Openvpn and selective routing working ddns issue.

So i have openvpn and selective routing working perfect. I have my synology and raspberry pi mysql server on the bypass side and my laptop and htpc on the vpn side. That way i can use dyndns to access my nas and server remotely. The problem im running into is that i cant access my NAS or mysql server from my vpn devices on the same network using my xxxx.dyndns.org adrress. I can access my servers from ouside my network no problem. What am i missing or is it just not possible. I have done hours of searching to no avail. Oh btw im using an n66u with the latest merlin firmware and the astrill applet.

I read through that posts weeks ago. I'm not having his issue. My issue is that one side of my split tunnel can not connect to the other side via the ddns address which works perfectly as soon as I disable openvpn connection. I've also tried to disable hw acceleration anyway which was his fix but it didn't help. I've been searcing this forum for useful answers for many years now as you can tell by my join date vs post count. This forum has gotten me very far but it seems to me like this topic is not covered anywhere.

The problem is when I have it enabled and my pc is on vpn and NAS is off vpn(which is what I want) I cannot connect to my nas via the dyndns.org address and have to use the static ip address. this forces me to have two links for all nas operations. A set for when Im home and a set for when im away. Without the vpn enabled I can use the dyndns.org link at home or away.

The way you're describing it; you've solved the problem?

If not; it's not clear what the problem is (at least to me: maybe I need to rest a bit).
