did you try with another PC?
did you try with a phone?
If the screenshot you posted earlier is still accurate, then there most likely is nothing wrong with the R7800.
Kamoj's addon shows that the router can ping www.cloudfare.com and can ping 1.1.1.1.
It would also help to know how you connect your PC.
You mention "I can ping 1.1.1.1 but when I connect to wifi using netgear it doesnt seem to connect to the internet".
So your PC does have access to internet if you connect it wired to R7800, but if you remove cable and connect to wifi, it doesn't work anymore ??
Anyways, normal troubleshooting steps to start with would be:
- see what IP configuration your PC is getting (IP, gateway, DNS etc)
- test if PC can ping gateway
- test if PC can ping 1.1.1.1
- test if PC can do DNS lookups via the router DNS (nslookup google.com)
- test if PC can do DNS lookups via different DNS (nslookup google.com 1.1.1.1)
