Hy i have asrock ion 330 atom based nettop pc (it has nvidia ion and built in gigabit lan card), and i use it for 7/24 as NAS.
Before i had 100mbps router linksys wrt 54gl with tomato firmware, and i achieved lan file transfer speed 11-12MB/s.
I was bored about slow file copy speed over network, and i upgrade my router a gigabit one (Tp-Link 1043nd). After that the copy speed over my desktop pc (cora quad 6600, GB lan) to my gigabit nas (Seagate black armornas) increases 20-30MB/s, but when i copy files from/to the atom based nettop i just achieved 15MB/s, and the one from 4 processor core running 100% utilized. When i tried self copy files (from c drive to c drive) i measured 33MB/s, so i think the problem is the slow cpu, not the hdd or lan network.

Has anybody useable trick to speed up lan copy speed from my nettop pc?
Thanks.
