I think from an engineering standpoint it's possible with some additional tweaks to get a client card to be able to do all three bands simultaneously. One issue comes to mind is that current adapters in the space only use 2 antennas. Bein able to splice off a band to a third antenna would prevent cross talk between 5&6. Going to a 4x4 setup would also bring the perks of WIFI 7 speeds to todays wants doubling speeds across the board.

It's not that simple - it's hardware, not SW, and it's at the baseband level...

Marvell/NXP has AP capable SoC's now, mainly intended for automotive use (think AndroidAuto/CarPlay) - ublox has the Jody-W3 module..


Checked mouser and digikey, and they aren't in stock yet...
 
Yeah, it gets complicated without reverse engineering say the orbi quad band. That's a big price tag for something to rip apart and see how it works under the plastic housing. Whether they're using dual or quad chips to get to 4 bands simultaneously.
