Hi,
My AX88U is new, last week I replaced my old AC86U with it.
I flashed the Merlin firmware right away. Unfortunately it didn't work well, I was getting Wi-Fi loss, the syslog was spammed with the wlc_ampdu_recv_addba_resp messages, I got one random reboot and previous night I lost the web access to it.
So yesterday morning I flashed the latest Asus firmware, it's stable now.
Hope the issues with the Merlin firmware will be resolved and I will be able to flash it back.
Thank you for you time on working on this!

FYI, the latest 386.7_1 build that was posted yesterday should resolve the wireless dropping issue
Thanks! To be on the safe side and also I am hoping that some other issues maybe will be resolved too, I will wait for the "official" release at SourceForge.

Running much better on 386.5 for the AX11000, current uptime is 7 days and 12 hrs, however still getting hundreds of Deauth_ind and Disassoc entries in the logfile. Unsure if this is normal.

Same here. log saturated with:

Is there anything here to correct? Or is this routine debugging logging?

Anton

Anyone have installed 386.7_2?
I haven't had the time yet to investigate how this newer version works since I will do a nuke reset first.

EDIT: Just read the release notes:
- UPDATED: RT-AX88U and GT-AX11000 radio firmware downgraded to the
previous version.

For me this 386.7_2 version has resolved the Wifi droppings on my AX88U

It'll take awhile to manifest, sometimes up to a few weeks before it starts happening. Can't know if this is fixed until later.
My wifi drops began as soon as I had installed 386.7

It seems to have done on mine as well. I did a dirty upgrade yesterday and it's been fine so far.

Did you upgrade your firmware yet to 386.7_2?
I upgraded mine, but now i got an issue with my phone and 2.4Ghz.
My phone is refusing 2.4Ghz from AC88U 386.7_2 for some reason if I have channel bandwidth restricted to 40MHz only.
If I allow 20MHz it works fine on phone again. (It has always been set to only allow 40MHz before, and it was working before I upgraded.

5Ghz works fine now with the speed and all.

Did you try 'forgetting' the SSID of the 2.4GHz network, reboot the phone and then re-associate it again?
