Router: RT-A66u
Firmware: asuswrt 378.55 (latest stable build)
Realtek PCIe GBE Family controller w/ driver version 10.1.505.2015 (latest version I could find)
Windows 10 64 bit
AiCloud Problem: wake on lan / wan works flawlessly. However, when using the ios AiCloud app, the wired computers/devices improperly show as “offline” when they are actually online, while the wireless computers/devices properly show “online” when they are actually online.
This happens no manner how many times I refresh the router listing (by swiping down on the device listing page), although sometimes immediately after waking the computer, AiCloud will properly show the computer as “online”, but a few seconds later after a refresh of the listing the computer will show as “offline.”
If I turn windows firewall “off”, then the wired devices in the ios AiCloud app properly show as “online” when they are online. So apparently the firewall is blocking communication between the computers/devices and the router.
I made inbound/outbound rules to open the default ports 443 TCP and 8082 TCP in windows firewall, but that didn’t help; the wired devices still show “offline” when they are online.
Any suggestions on how to get the ios AiCloud app to show the proper “online” status of the wired devices would be appreciated.
