ASUS dropped new firmware on the 11th that seems, so far, to have resolved similar issues with my network.

At this point, if you are still experiencing major issues, I would factory reset after the latest firmware update and set up the network again from scratch. If that doesn’t fix it, I’d look for a warranty replacement.

Skypx… how do i do that? I have 2 BQ16’s (uk) one is ethernet backhauled via..i assume ai mesh …across 1 ssid for wifi. Is there step guide somewhere on best approach…not seen one.

Thanks
The process is the same as setting up the main router.

Before you start please be aware APs can only be used in a wired configuration.

1. Turn off and disconnect the main router. Also turn off all other ASUS nodes.

2. Connect the node to the wan and lan and turn it on. After boot up press and hold the reset button until the light in front starts flashing.

3. When it's finished rebooting it will default to 192.168.50.1. You may have to disable/enable your network adapter to get a new IP address.

4. Go through the process of setup and change the operation mode to AP when prompted.
