IOS based mac and iphones not able to connect to wifi - help needed!

Hi everyone,

sorry if i sound desperate but really, help is needed here..
i have 1 mac, 2 iphones and 2 windows based laptops connecting to the same network (wifi). just few days ago, my mac and both iphones are not able to connect to the network (wifi). router login screen with error message 1) cable is unplugged and 2) please check your operation mode appear everytime they "connected". have attached the screen here. upon login, yes it shows cable is unplugged but its been quite sometimes and all good till now. connection was fine. a thing to note or share: i have enabled my asus router for ddns to connect my cctv, is this related?

1) restore your configuration to the last one that worked. Does everything return to normal
2) i can't tell what you mean in the descriptions above. That message appears to say you have lost WAN connection. Could mean your config change, cable issue, ISP, etc.
3) do your devices show connected to the wireless AP ?
4) do they have access to the Internet ?
5) does the router have a WAN IP address ?
 
This looks like the captive portal login screen in iOS when it can't reach the internet at a hotel, for example. Usually it's because iOS can't reach http://captive.apple.com/ and so it assumes you need to authenticate to the WiFi network. I've not yet encountered this type of popup on a home network.

Are the Windows laptops connecting fine with the same WiFi settings? I assume your WiFi network is really named "PKonta" and you aren't erroneously connecting to another WiFi network? Also, it seems odd that the router is reporting itself as 192.168.0.2.

I'd try forgetting the WiFi network on the iPhone and start from scratch with the SSID and password.

Since a lot of the methods of detecting Internet connectivity depend on DNS resolution of specific hostnames, you should try reverting your DDNS change to make sure it's not affecting normal operation.

windows laptops are connecting fine with the same wifi settings (although cable is unplugged shown in router as per file above)
yes, wifi name is pkonta and this is the wifi network i am using for all the devices and yet only those ios based are affected so far. they could not connect to the internet with captive portal login always appear once we selected pkonta wifi network.

forgetting PKonta network and start from scratch works for a while and after that, it's the same thing again captive login screen appeared.

yes, will consider to disable the ddns client for now....

1) yes, will revert back to previous one that worked which is without the ddns enabling option.
3) windows devices show connected to the wireless. ios based connected for few seconds and captive login screen appeared.
4) only windows based devices have access to the internet for now
5) yes, this router have private WAN IP address

will certainly share the result here after disabling the ddns...
 
1 of the 2 iphone is working right now after reset network settings..mac and another iphone still having the same issues..
ddns settings have been disabled...so far this is the result..anyone can chip in further?
 
did you power down and up the router / APs in order after the change ? All down, RTR up, AP up .
