New Around Here
I recently purchased an iPad only to discover that it works like CRAP in mixed mode (I have a DIR-655). Unfortunately, I have several b/g clients and I wanted to keep the iPad on n so, I went and purchased the DIR-825. After reading some of the info on this site, I discovered I could use my Belkin N+ as an access point and went that route.
Now...the question: is there any advantage to keeping the 825 for the 5GHz band? Both the 655 and N+ are 2.5GHz. I have the 655 setup for n only and the N+ as an access point for b/g only.
Do I gain anything by replacing the 655 with the 825 in this scenario or should I just take it back?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
