Hi,

I have a N66U running 376.45 merlin.

When I was looking in "Tools -> Sysinfo", I noticed that when I clicked on one of my devices in the "Last seen device" section, it's telling me that the iTunes service is on YES, while I disabled everything in "USB application -> Media Services and Servers".

Can anyone tell me what this "Yes" stands for?

Thanks.

Whatever that device is has its own iTunes service running. It's not referring to the router itself.

Thanks for the reply back. Appreciate it.

Well that is very strange then, because the computer I am on right now (referring to the picture above) has no iTunes installed or anything from Apple whatsoever.

Is there something I could do to trace where the router is getting this information from?

I would really like to know to be honest, because this is literally mind blowing.

Asus's iTune detection seem a bit unreliable. It would also occasionally report the same about my desktop, while I have no iTunes or Quicktime installed.

No, I don't have Quicktime installed.

I just can't quite put my finger on it, where the router gets this information from though.
Because this PC is "Apple free" and always will be too.

Could this be a bug maybe?

EDIT: (because of unlucky post timing)
Thanks for the update RMerlin. Really appreciate it.
Alright, so no need to worry then. :)
