JFFS not formatting...

Hello all,

I'm running Merlin 3.0.0.4.378.50_0 on the AC68R. I tried to create a script to automatically reboot the router once a day but it didn't quite work out, so I decided that I would choose the "Format JFFS partition at next boot" option to clear out whatever I had done. After rebooting the router twice with a 5+min wait between, the JFFS partition didn't look like it had been formatted. I used WinSCP to view the file structure, I could see there was a syslog.log file that appears to be written to rather often. My understanding is that the JFFS partition should not be written to on a regular basis, is this normal to have the syslog.log updated on a consistent basis? Thanks in advance.

I had the same issue during my testing on the AC68U with version .51beta1 - which I reported here, but no response on it as I was alone with this finding...

I could only reformat the JFFS partitions by reset to Factory default - which (of course) deleted also all settings, but the NVRAM Save/Restore Utility restored all things nicely (incl. the JFFS content)!
