I was wondering which firmware would be the best for the router. I am basically looking for gaming wise and downloading wise.

The latest version available is the best for that model, unless you have a very high speed PPPoE connection and need HW acceleration, in which case the 354.29 Beta 1 is the last known version with working HW acceleration for PPPoE users.

Thank you very much for your response. I am currently using cable with 30 down and 5 up. But with the docsis 3.0 modem i am pulling about 55 down. So do you recommend using 354.29 beta 1? or use the latest?

You should use the latest firmware if your down speed is lower than 170 Mbps.

You're one cable, so the PPPoE-specific issues do not apply anyway. Go with 374.35_2 or 374.36 Beta 1.
