Lan 1 on wan vlan

Hi,

Have a asus rt-n66u router and would like port1 to be in the same vlan as the wan port, so no routing.

Am I right in presuming that the following will work?

Nvram set vlan1ports=”2 3 4 8*”
Nvram set vlan2ports=”1 8”
nvram set manual_boot_nv=1
Nvram commit
reboot

by default there is no vlan2

so you'll have to create it

also if I remember correctly wan port is not by default part of vlan1
vlan1 gets attached by bridge br0 to get WAN access

log in and run robocfg show
to see the default status of the ports
