led script

I'm using the light on/off scripts on my RT-AC87U to turn the router's leds on and off automatically. However, I have noticed that when they come back on, the 5GHz led comes on as well, even though I have the 5GHz radio turned off. Also, sometimes one of the LAN leds doesn't come on (I think it's LAN 4) straight away, but usually comes back on later on (I can't say how long; I think it is quite a few minutes later, but I'll do some further checking). Incidentally, if I turn the leds off and then back on with the switch on the front of the router, the correct leds come back on, so it can't be a problem with the hardware.

Running build 380.65_4

The scripts I was advised to use on the forum, so probably the Wiki.

Actually, I've just run some tests by disabling the scripts, rebooting and then manually switching the leds on and off and it seems I was wrong inasmuch as the router is exhibiting the same behaviour whichever way the leds are turned on. The 5GHz led is lit, even though the 5GHz radio is turned off and LAN4 led is off, even though it is in use.

Well, I've found the answer to the LAN4 problem and rather embarrasingly it was down to me - I had forgotten that I had unplugged my own PC to test the wi-fi as I had been getting some dropouts. So it's just an issue with the 5GHz led then. I'll have to report back later as I've got some household chores to do first.
