Probably I will need some extra time on this, It seems the RT-AC56U switch has a different config, once I have the confirmation as working I'll update here.

As long as it doesn't cause other issues and un-trackable glitches, I'd want it enabled too. :)

But seriously, did you compare throughput before/after with the LAG or without (between your fastest, wired, computers)?

Because it's not a 2GB network - it's 2*1GB networks - but if you really want to introduce that extra complexity into a working network, that's ok...

What complexity? There are no issues what so ever in my setup.
