Hi

my friend asks for a load-balance setup for 2 isp connection 16 mb and 40 mb

should I go with Mikrotik or with my lovely Asus-Merlin, I don't test the Asus router before with a load-balance scenario?

did someone here test the Asus-Merlin router load-balance?

thanks

I have tried dual wan with load balancing with Asus AX86U on both the factory firmware and Asus-Merlin, and it wasn't the best experience. It just didn't seem to balance out the two wan-connections as well as other routers I've tried do. My speeds are 40/20 mbits on one line (WISP) and 40/40 mbits (LTE Broadband).

I've heard lots of praise about Mikrotik for this kind of usage while I personally use TP-Link Omada ER605 which does a great job with load balancing for a cheap price.
