Hi All,

I would like to know if it's possible to know/log the sites visited by my children.
Something like the navigation history in Chrome/Firefox but in the router.
I have a Hard disk attached to my router, I would like to generate the navigation logs in a
special folder.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I can't find it.

Thanks

There is, on Adaptive QoS page, a Web History sub-page. And you can filter by device, but its storage is limited and, depending on the amount of web activity, probably only goes back a day or so, which would mean your constantly having to log in to view the history (I can go back 13 pages on my router, which takes me to yesterday). Not really what you are after but possibly a temporary, if unsatisfactory solution.

No problem, I should have explained.

Once you've logged in, look at the left-hand side of the page under the General heading. On my RT68U, Adaptive QoS is the fourth item down. Open that page and you should see the Web History tab - there are only 3 tabs on that page.

Ia m really Sorry, but can't find this history web log.

Is it in Traffic Manager ?

The option is only available on the RT-AC56U and newer models. It's not available on the RT-N66U or the RT-AC66U.

Ok I undesrtand now. Mine is an RT-AC66U.
Thank you.

Tomato-Shibby could be a good alternative for you if you really need that particular feature.

You can enable dnsmasq logging and then filter the log by IP. This way you get a rough idea what sites are visited.

If you like playing with scripts, you can try this approach (this is the way Tomato does it, but without the gui).....

Sorry for resurrecting this thread, but I also have a similar need to log the URLs visited by each client connected to the router. I like the suggestion from john9527, and I might have to give that a try, but I was wondering if it would be possible to tweak the Web History to have much more (or configurable) buffer and hopefully show the full URL being requested.
