MAC filter list for Guest clients

Hi all,

I would like to use mac filter for guest clients. I would like a group of user to use only a Guest network and an other group to use a different guest network. The problem is that they are sharing the users and passwords so I think the only solution would be to use mac address to allow the users to only uses the Wifi I want them to use.

What is the purpose of the guest network? To isolate them from your network or from each other (or both)?

What router and firmware do you have?

If they are in any way technical, its pretty easy to spoof macs on most devices

they are not technical they wil not spoof macs.

Every guest network has a given time to use (1h,3h ...) the purpose is to limit internet access time. And thus if they share the passwords, they can use more time.

Obvioulsy this is for my children

I am using the last merlin build 378.55 in a RT-AC66U router.
