Merlin 380.58 @ RT-AC68U VPN issues..

Hi,

I'm trying to set up OpenVPN servers and while TAP connection works perfectly I can't figure out what's wrong with TUN connection.

thank for reply.

Unfortunately ".opvn" file couldn't be created when "tls-client" option existed in custom configuration. Only after removing it file was created, but still can't connect - below log:

Its not the same when you are configuring a server as it is a client to a server.
the guide i pasted was for a client.
Try general instead of advanced settings. put a username and password and
it gives you a .ovpn file that you will import into a VPN client so you can connect to the tunnel
its not hard.
Don't over complicate yourself

See if this guide will help. The cert also works with IPad as long as you are using the OVPN client. But just like Yorgi said, Don't over think the process.
