Merlin and john and limited wireless output..

Hi all,
As owner of a ac68u i read about regulations that lowered the wifi radio output of several asus routers is that true?

Besides that you have merlins asus fw with more options: clear
Also john is there with a fork of merlins fw, in these versions are more and other options available

Is there an option in one of the fw versions that can help pushing the wifi output to normal levels (as when there were no regulations?)

So first install the latest merlin and then ontop of that John's?

No need, you can install directly John's fork, reset to factory settings, reboot and then apply the new settings.

It can be me but when reading John's features i don't see the wifi part, am i right?
