Hi.

I looking to build a 7 or 8 drive hardware RAID system as cheap but reliable as possible.

Can someone tell me what would be a good hardware RAID card to buy for this setup?

Alternatively, is getting a 8 SATA port motherboard with raid support as buying an 8 port hardware raid card?

Please let me know.

I am new to building RAID system, I currently have a 4 drive buffalo terastation.
