MLO Network Name

Question - when you all create MLO networks are you naming it differently than the other wireless networks? I have a meshed BE98/96U network. I turned on smartconnect all radios. I set the 2.4 to 20mhz only. Everything else is default. That ssid is the same as my MLO ssid. Should I rename to force the iPhone on to that? iPhone 16 pro.

I initially had my BE98 set up like that, and I seemed to have lots of issues with disconnections. I now have different SSID's for my Smart Connect and MLO networks and things are far better for me.

I changed over to this. At first the iphone wifi settings told me not to do this though. I turned off and on wifi and that message went away. It's still the same ip range. I think the Apple current releases have some wifi issues anyway.

I don't have any experience of the new iPhone 16 as I use an S24U Ultra, the wife has an iPhone 15 Pro (no WiFi 7) and that seems to happily ping about the Smart Connect radios as needed.

I do find my S24U will disconnect for a few seconds and then reconnect again, occasionally. It used to disconnect and need to be manually reconnected before I used separate SSID's for the SC and MLO networks though.
