New Around Here
Hi, I used RT-AC3200 as main router. Do I have any solution to use RT-AC3200 to monitor my kid to use internet? I don't want to him to touch dark information. Or setup black list?

On Asus firmware:
- restrict content in Parental Controls
- see some traffic type in Traffic Analyzer
- see Web History, not very informative

On Merlin firmware:
- all of the above
- apply DNS filtering in DNSFilter, see https://cleanbrowsing.org/filters as example

Restrict - yes. Monitor - not really.

Hi,

Thanks for your information.
I tried on Asus firmware, and it works but not enough. I think I need more functions on monitor.

What exactly you want to see?

Actually I want to know what he search and view from internet. I don't want to install anything on his iPad or computer, just check from router. He is still so young, before he learn enough from school, I need to monitor him.

Web History on my RT-AC86U router now allows per device separation. Not sure what FW version it came with. Check on your router if it’s available. Shows DNS queries, I believe. Visiting single website generates multiple records. Not very useful, but gives general idea of web activity.
