Someone, please... help me retrieve my lovely pie chart.

Disabled QOS, no pie chart.
Enabled QOS, no pie chart.
Reboot did not help.
With or without Trend Micro, same thing.

Did you factory reset after installing the merlin firmware?

Yes, did a factory reset, set it up immediately, since AX86U Pro replaced my RTN66U, and everything is peechy. All of the clients connect, no issues besides the pie chart

Maybe I should've done a HARD reset after flashing Merlin, not a factory reset. Is it the same thing?

Can I reset the pie chart data through SSH? Obviously, I would format JFFS, but there is no option to do that on the AX86U Pro...

Factory reset with the WPS button.
I don't recall seeing any other threads about this issue with this firmware and this hardware so not an Asus or Merlin issue.

Have you tried refreshing the page with Ctrl + F5 or perhaps another web browser?

Of course. Tried refreshing, Firefox, Opera, Edge and Ungoogled Chromium to rule out possible browser issues. Just did a hard reset, re-setup the router, now we shall see what happens...

Edit: Seems everything is OK now. Re-enabled Traditional QOS, pie chart is working... My best guess is something got cocked up by enabling/disabling Trend Micro along with Traditional QOS. Also, I did not do a proper WPS hard reset after flashing Merlin. Just a Factory reset. We shall see how it goes from now on, but I am not toggling any Trend Micro related setting on the router, ever again. Asus did not need this in their firmware.

System reset to defaults and reconfiguration sounds like excellent plan for Christmas Eve. 🥂

Wishing you lovely pie charts in 2024!

LOL! So true. I know what I'm doing tonight :) The story of my life.

Thank you, my good man, thank you from the bottom of my heart You and everyone on this forum. Especially Merlin.

I wish you all the BEST of health and happiness. May your pie charts never stop working :)

That reminds me... there's a bit of cranberry pie in the fridge, and it has my name written all over it's sweet self.

Looking at the payload in Christmas packets I sense severe bufferbloat coming, but decided to disable the ingress limiter and take my chances. Will deal with eventual congestion consequences after the holidays. Hopefully the system holds well and doesn't lock up in next few days.

Hmm, switched back to Merlin this morning to add Diversion as I was getting sick of adds. After flashing Merlin did factory reset with initialize and manually configured. All is well. And Silent Night, too. Oops, great horned owl hooting in the trees!

It's a mystery what happened... I guess flashing Merlin without hard reset, switching QOS modes, combined with Trend Micro and restarts corrupted something. For now, it seems everything is good and proper.

Web UI reset to defaults ought to be sufficient. Perhaps a simple reboot after initial configuration would suffice. I do it purely to ensure coming back from an unattended power loss works as expected. I don't consider configuration complete until that step.
