It's SUPPOSE to prioritize packets, so that you can have better performance on a particular device...
But most QOS only affect the upload and not the down.
I have tried it but it seems like the overhead from it prioritizing doesn't pan out.
If you want to see what I mean.....
do a speedtest with it off and then turn it on/retest and you should notice that your throughput is reduced.
Or at least that's what i have happen....
I don't use it, never worked well on my dlink, netgear, or asus...

I agree with Zainday4 works fine for my houseful of multiple devices without QOS.

QoS hinders my traffic more then it helps.

when activated it destroys my IPTV. You cant even surf and download at the same time with it. (in my case)

because you don't have it configured properly
you need to configure the QOS to work with your setup its not plugin-play

Qos really helped with my xbox one speeds for some reason.
