N66U OpenVPN Setup/Security

New Around Here
Not a router/VPN expert by any means, so looking for a little reassurance. I want to use VPN to access IP cameras on a computer remotely via iPad, etc. I updated to stock FW 3.0.0.4.374_5517, implemented OpenVPN and just left all of the settings as default. The router generated the OVPN file. Tried it out and seems to be working well, which is great. I just want to be sure there are not any additional settings I need to adjust to maintain reasonable security and if using the Asus generated CA is secure. A lot of discussions I found in searches talk about how complex the process is to use OpenVPN and how to generate your own OVPN file. Did the current FW streamline this process to make that unnecessary?
