I finally got fed up with the POS Galaxy MGB Raid Pro NAS I've been struggling with for the past year and bought a Synology DS211. My plan is to back up to another drive in an attached eSATA enclosure for the primary backup.
However, I'd also like a secondary backup that I can hide somewhere else in my home, which would necessitate backing up over my internal home network. This will most likely be via powerline or 802.11N, so NAS speed isn't too important. However, I would prefer that there is a relatively fast interface that can be used to restore the data back to my primary NAS (for restoring, I could plug the NAS directly into my wired network, so network infrastructure would not be the bottleneck).
I even considered using the Galaxy for backup duties, but it just isn't reliable enough. I generally have to reboot it every 1-3 weeks, as it simply becomes unresponsive after a while. It also tends to hang if I copy large amounts of data at a time (around 100GB seems to be the limit). Like I said, it's a POS that I wasted $60 on.
Anyway, what are my options? I was assuming an inexpensive 1 drive NAS would do it, but is there another option I should consider?

Inexpensive (relatively speaking) option: Western Digital My Book Live 2TB
More flexible option: Synology DS110j + 2TB hard drive
