NAS with USB connection to PC??

Hi,

I need a single-drive device that can be connected to my PC with USB when I dont have a network available and also act as a NAS connected to the network so I can share my files and play them with a media player.

I have searched a lot and found only 2 options:

1. LaCie Network Space 2 >> not good because it has separated partitions for USB and Ethernet connections so I wouldnt be able to share my files on the network easily

2. IOCELL NetDISK >> which seems good but since it needs drivers I am afraid my media player (WD TV Live media player) might not be able to access my files.

I couldnt find the answer in previous forums so, any thoughts??

Any other suggestions?
