Hey fellas,
Just poking around on my 68u etc.
Noticed that I can change modes to AP and 3 others.
Got me thinking, I have NBN, so NBN modem?>Ethernet>wan port on 68u.
The 68u is in wireless router mode by default.
Everything works fine.
I don't know much about the NBN modem or router or whatever it is. It has 4 ports, but only the first one works for some reason when plugged directly into a computer. The house is Ethernet wired.
I plug all the house ports into the 68u.
Places like the lounge room have a 4 port switch to connect tv, dvd player, htpc etc as I don't need full gigabit support for all those devices at once.
Should I change to Access point mode or am I not getting double NAT or whatever?
As far as I know I thought the NBN thing is more like a 1 port switch than anything.
Cheers guys.
