New Around Here
The current set up is cable modem into Linksys E2500 in Netgear Powerline XAV2001. The other XAV2001 is at the other end of the house with a computer attached to it.
The problem area is a garage that was converted into a tv room. It gets so little wireless signal it's useless.
What Powerline product do I need to use in that area?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Did you try just adding another XAV2001? Move the one you have out there first to check if it works first.

I actually tried two of them.
The power light is amber I think because they are not connected via ethernet.
I would like something that I can plug into an outlet and have it broadcast the wireless signal.
