New Around Here
I did some research in recent weeks and finally narrow down my selection to these two models within the similar price range. The application is to provide a centralized storage for multiple PC/Laptops and Apple mobile devices. It will be located in living room, the quietness is very important. Besides noise, I wish it has a good software quality, i.e. correctness, stability in long term usage, easy to use, responsive software update.

I do like Synology's management interface and its large fan (9cm@1800rpm vs 7cm@unknown) which is expected to be significantly quiter and easier to replace. But TS-219P+ is made by metal and looks more "professional", it has a more preferable appearance to me. How about your personal opinions between the selections? Thanks a lot!

Flip a coin. Both are good NASes that will do what you want.
