Need with getting iTunes to work consistently with my Pioneer SC-77 receiver. System worked flawlessly until I replaced a Netgear HD wifi N extender with a second AC68U in media bridge mode. Main router is the same and I am showing 1300mbs between that and the media bridge. Bridge has other services connected that are also flawless (xbox one, directv, etc).
I can also play music from Windows Media Player to the Pioneer without issue.
If I turn off the receiver and unplug the Airplay icon in iTunes will come back and I can usually stream for a while (sometimes hours). If I leave iTunes, or reboot or whatever, the Airplay icon goes yellow and it can't stream to the receiver.
I have read about multicast issues. I'm on the latest firmware and software for everything (Windows 8.1 x64). Everything is on the 5ghz / 80 mhz wireless.
Is there any way to fix this? I notice in the AC68 manual there used to be a setting for "wireless multicast forwarding" but I don't see that on this firmware.
This used to work. The only reason I switched out that old netgear extender was to do xbox movies and downloads.
thanks
