Need help with ASUS GT AXE 2.4Ghz band WIFI

New Around Here
Hello all!
Please help I got a used GT AXE16000 from Ebay and dont want to return if I can solve the issue.

Because I cant make 2.4g wifi band work for my electronic (it only require wpa3 encryption) and my LG ThinQ, Alexa, smart light wont able to connect.

With 3.0.0.6 firmware when I set up new router I can have 3 channels of wifi which are 2.4,5,6 but I cannot change encryption for 2.4G band wifi because in WIRELESS>GENERAL has nothing to do. In "Asus router app" I try changing to wpa,wpa2,wpa/wpa2 and apply and when I close the app and come back it always show wpa3. Make it not working.

With 3.0.0.4 firmware I can see 4 wifi in web ui
2.4g, 2.4g-2, 5g and 6g. When finish set up as a new router, the 2.4g-2 ssid changed to 6g band and become wpa3 encryption. And 2.4g wifi cannot be seen. Even ssid is not hidden and the radio is enabled.

And forgot to mention one more thing, 5ghz -2 LED is not lit up.
I am so confused. Does it look like the router has been modified? I really need to make 2.4ghz wifi band work for my electronic devices.

I always set up unique name for each band.
Smart connect always off.
I have reset power cycle.
I have reset factory and hard factory reset router.
I have tried both merlin and original firmware.
I have tried new and old firmware

Alexa devices don't like it if you use secure DNS over DOT. In the DNS director set it so the Alexa devices use 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4 or some other standard DNS resolver.

Our electronic devices cant connect 2.4g wifi because of wpa3 encryption.
It always says wrong password even its correct.
I cant change encryption to something else.
Im not sure why there is something to do with dns.....

Set up a guest WIFI on the 2.4 GHz band with just WPA2-Personal. It will require a different SSID but you can use the same subnet as the main. I've done this to get some old iPods to connect.

I just tried. But everytime I chose 2.4G band, it always become 5G band

If this is with both 3.0.0.4 and 3.0.0.6 firmwares then it's sounding like hardware failure. Is your router still under warranty? May be worth getting a replacement, or even a different model.
Have you tried Merlin's beta?

Yup. I have tried every single firmware yes I meant I tried more than 10 FW both Merlin and original.

To be honest, I bought used from Ebay. The seller did not mention anything about hardware failure.
But I really feel like it too.
The 2.4g wifi is not working properly.
5g band works only 2 channel. ( because I cant see on wifi network too)
I have tried hard reset, hard factory reset but not working. I have tried all possible FW but still not working.
Even guest network still not working!

Guess I need to return the router, Ebay should have money back guarantee.
