I am in the process of building my home network... not that I have FIOs installed. I have a few Cat6 dropped in the house. Here is what I would like to have ultimately:
1)Verizon line -> 2) FIOs Router -> 3)Netgear GS108T Switch -> 4) Wireless-N
I have a cat6 line from the 2nd floor (where the GS108T is) to downstair living room (where I want the wireless install). I am trying to decided which product to use. Here are my requirementS:
- Wireless N
- Gigabit
- Jumbo Fram
- QoS
Price to be as low as possible. I not very concern about the range as the areay is not very big. I plan to have a NAS connect to the switch for video streaming, file transfer, etc.
