I upgraded to 3.0.0.4.374.39 for my RT-NT66U. I have WAN>DNS Setting>Connect to DNS Server automatically set to ON.

I use Parental Controls to control access times for a child's computer.

I enabled Parental Controls>DNS Filtering Enable DNS-Filtering to ON (openDNS) and my Roku 3 would no longer connect to Netflix, although other services worked with the Roku 3.

I tried using my DVD player and it could not connect to Netflix either. A computer that had used Netflix earlier in the day was still able to connect.

I disabled DNS-Filtering and Netflix now successfully connects through the Roku.

I re-enabled it and the Roku again couldn't connect to Netflix, disabled DNS Filtering (OpenDNS) and I can connect to Netflix through the Roku 3.

If other online services works then it means the Netflix client used by the Roku just won't work when using OpenDNS. There's nothing I can do about this, this has nothing to do with the firmware or the router.

Try adding the Roku and DVD players mac addresses to the mac filtering list plus any other devices connected to the router.

I have had to do the same for for Humax PVR in order to get the BBC and ITV iplayers working and also my NAS running my Squeezebox's server. Once you add a device with 'none' I can confirm that all works fine. :)

Roku devices don't like their dns futzed with. In fact they intentionally do not allow you to set DNS on the device or fixed ip. Vendor doesn't want users using VPNs or Proxy servers with Roku either. Afraid of users bypassing location restrictions. And their support is nasty and rude about it.
