Hello RMerlin,

Some routers have the feature that access from WAN to a defined port can be restricted to a range of WAN IPs as narrow as you like. All other WAN IPs are locked out...

I think this is a good thing because one can leave a port open without the risk that the whole world can try to break in.

Would it be possible for you to implement it with a reasonable effort?
 
Can be manually done using iptables and firewall-start or nat-start user scripts. You can see an example on port forwarding in the Wiki.
