Hello. I'm new with networking but it's time for my old
dlink 655 to retire:) My macbook air disconnect frequently from
the net and only my mac, not any other device in my home? Since
the new macbook air has AC standard wireless i need advice wich one
is the safe choice for mixed wireless, ac and n ?

I've seen many threads on both the : http://www.komplett.dk/asus-rt-ac66u-11ac-ac1750-router/757756

And : http://www.komplett.dk/linksys-ea6700-wireless-router/781682

Same pricetag but wich one should i pick:)

I've learned from someone that airport extreme is not a safe choice?

Nice forum by the way :):)

Spend the extra money to grab the 68U Asus... Had nothing but trouble with the 66U. Huge difference since upgrading - a real premium router.

For customization, and feature set alone, yes.

When you factor in things like post release support too it's no brainer.

Performance is similar.

You mean better support with Asus over Linksys?

If that's the case i go for the ac68U. Found on a deal 260$ here in
Denmark where i live:)
