But !!!!! The Client Pc And Laptop Are Not Ready To Accept The new internet Speed Every User Need Purchase Wifi6 or Wifi 7 Or 10 Gb Ethernet Port($$$$)

Throughput to the premise is up at a lower price point for sure. And to your point, beyond individual client hw and os ability to fully cope with that speed, the applications for it aren't really there either yet either.

I recently doubled my cable modems service as I needed to upgrade the modem and router (to wifi 6), and it was only $3 a month more for the service. I should be able to leave this "as is" and grow into it for a number of years, when I replace clients, they'll be wifi 6

This seems to be a Comcast (et al) reality... it never gets cheaper, but you can get a lot more for a smaller price increase. Jump on the new technology standards bandwagon (10gb, wifi 7) when you have to ... or can, or want to

If true it's great news for home consumers. We need to have the home equipment to take advantage of all that speed. Wifi 6/AX is becoming the new wireless standard and it's time to upgrade our wired networking equipment to 10GbE.

The older home technologies like wireless N, AC and wired 1GbE are now becoming obsolete.

I get that.. and no, I'm not ready. I tried adding an AX adapter to one device and it helped only a little. Other devices surprised me of their performance on AC.

My router died and I had to choose a new wireless technology. I decided on a wifi6 router to grow into over time. I'll wait as my other clients need to be replaced and grow into it over time.

The flip side is that in both consumer and business, the VR/AR applications and devices are coming and its likely that their net requirements will possibly challenge wifi 6e & 7.

The only application for N that lurks about for me is HA. I have Thermostats and sensors, securityt and irrigation.. all running well on 2.4 N. I don't want to invest in replacing those core assests.

You're good. We will still have backwards compatibility for those older devices. Those devices you mentioned don't need high speed data anyway.

Correct they don't, stability rules... these were serial port and even X10 at one point in the distant past

Paying £62 with BT for 55 down and 11 up. Just had a quote from another company as fibre is here now and for £75 I can get a 10Gb line Where BT offer 900 only which is fine.
I questioned them over the routers they supply and had very little info back apart from they would cover the line with a compatible router.
