NFS on RT-AC68U still busted?

I have configured an NFS export on an RT-AC68U (a mounted USB 3 HDD).
My Mac client can see the export (showmount -e [server]).
Trying to connect gets rejected with 'you don't have permission' as per posts in these forums from 4 years ago.

Was it ever fixed or am I wasting my time?

Me too, ik have the same router and get the same message whatever i do.
I use smb for now but it would be very nice if there was a fix for this.
