Voxel No plans for RBS40v FW?

Just got my hands on 3 RBS40v (and 2 RBR50/ 4 RBS50) from a friend who went full UniFi and was wondering if there are no plans to get a custom Voxel FW for those RBS40V, as they are a very nice piece of hardware with a very bad firmware.

It would be great to have an option to add it to my Voxel network and very awesome to get rid of the Amazon Alexa lock-in

Any hopes? Or should I just get rid of them?
