Not connecting to Internet

Just moved into a new home with new ISP. Using Cox cable as ISP.

When I attach my older Netgear WNDIR 4000 router, I connect to the internet just fine. But when I attach my AC68U, the router comes on and I can can connect to the router, but there is no internet connection. If I look at the front lights, the globe symbol is lit, which I thought suggested an internet connection.

Any ideas.

Dave

Also try powering off the modem of your new ISP for at least 10-15 minutes (it needs to reset the connection with the new router you want to use).
