Hello.
In light of the recently discovered security issues I updated the FW on my RT-N66U to the latest version (tried both latest stable merlin, latest merlin alpha as well as latest stock asus). However, one change is that the paths of mounted NTFS disk shared by SMB seems to have changed. Root was previously \\rt-n66u\Elements\ but has now become \\rt-n66u\. This wrecks chaos on my sweet XBMC setup and in other places, so I'm wondering if there is any way to get the router to behave as previously? (The other way would be to change the path in my databases and windows mounted shares, but this is quite a lot of work and can cause other problems as well).
Additionally, I've found that I can not directly map a network drive on my Win7 computer to \\RT-N66U ..wheres earlier it was possible (though then it was mapped to \\rt-n66u\Elements I guess, which showed the root folder of the drive). Maybe this is due to Win7 more than the router, but the change in FW outlined above has caused this as well.
Apologies if this is a very noobish question. I did try a search and went back 20 or so pages and could find quite a few topics on SMB, but nothing really similar to mine.
Thankful for all help.

Slothrop
