OpenVPN + allowing inbound connections

Hi

I've got a home server setup that allows outside connections to connect but when using openvpn it disallows inbound connections, what would be the best method to route all outgoing traffic from connected clients to the openvpn server whilst allowing inbound connections on my default ip.

The main 'selective routing' thread describes the solution where a single device, range of devices or subnet is 'redirected' (or forced) to use the OpenVPN VPN client connection(s) on the router whilst the remainder of the internet traffic uses the WAN port as normal, but still allows the router to host services such as OpenVPN/PPTP/Transmission etc.

Alternatively I believe there is a thread describing how to alter your DDNS to point to your inbound VPN connection address rather than your WAN assigned address, although your VPN provider may block this or may have double NAT etc.
