New Around Here
Hi All,

Long time reader, but first time poster on SNB. I'm after a little help and I couldn't find the answer hence this post. I've followed the sticky above on how to setup an OpenVPN connections, but with limited success.

I have two Asus routers both running Merlin 380.68 firmware.

Router A is in the UK and is the VPN Server
Router B is abroad and is the VPN Client

I want to be able to use the VPN so certain devices connected to Router B can browse the web with a UK IP address.

I can connect my Iphone to 'A' directly using the same .ovpn file as i use with 'B' via the openvpn app, and that works 100% fine, web browsing the lot.

However if I try to connect 'B' to 'A' either:
1) It stops ALL web browsing on 'B' even though I have set the rule so only one PC should be routing web traffic over the tunnel.
2)It stops web traffic on the PC selected to use the tunnel and other devices are unaffected.

In both cases 'A' reports that 'B' has connected successfully.

I've not posted screen shots of the VPN configs as they are set as per the Sticky above.

Grateful for any pointers....

I'd suggest screenshots are still a good idea, no matter how much they seem redundant. I'm sure there are at least a few unique settings! Be sure to obscure the few fields that contain sensitive info, Nimbus Screenshot is a great tool for this kind of thing.

The fact that you're getting two different types of failures is interesting too. Lots of folks here willing to help, but setup detail, in addition to a problem description is needed.
